Three distinctive songwriters come together for a night of intimate, thoughtful indie music—lush arrangements, poetic lyrics, and melodies that linger long after the final note.
Eleanor Levine, whose music centers on alternative tunings, intricate fingerpicking, and luminous vocals. Influenced by classic ‘60s and ‘70s songwriters like Joni Mitchell, Nick Drake, and Laura Nyro, Levine’s songs combine rhythmic guitar patterns with coded, poetic lyrics and clear melodic lines that feel both timeless and personal.
Thin Lear, the project of New Jersey songwriter Matt Longo, brings a quietly powerful strain of indie folk shaped by elegant melancholy and luminous production. His upcoming album Many Disappeared, produced by Grammy-winner Matt Ross-Spang (Jason Isbell, The Mountain Goats), explores the strange beauty and fragility of being alive. Longo’s work has drawn praise from NPR, KEXP, and Bandcamp, and his live performances balance delicate storytelling with expansive, atmospheric sound.
Niagara Moon is the musical world of Thomas Erwin, often joined by his singing partner and wife Huimin Wan. Their music blends intricate melodies and playful arrangements with a dreamy indie-pop sensibility. Drawing inspiration from the orchestral pop of Pet Sounds and Sgt. Pepper’s, Niagara Moon’s songs feel whimsical, slightly psychedelic, and richly layered—bright harmonies wrapped around thoughtful, often slyly humorous songwriting.
Together, these three artists create a warm, immersive evening of modern folk and indie pop—music for listening closely.
