The Valley Cats deliver a polished, genre-bending mix of jazz, blues, rock, and pop, pairing strong musicianship with an easygoing, high-energy stage presence. Their sets feature inventive arrangements of beloved classics and contemporary favorites, creating a sound that feels both familiar and fresh.
Ro Amembal and Josh Sabourin anchor the band on bass and drums, while Brian Nutwell and Monte “The Moose” Becker build rich, infectious layers on electric guitar, keyboard, and trumpet. Vocalist Anna Hartmann brings range, personality, and theatrical flair, performing in both English and French.
Their wide-ranging repertoire moves effortlessly from The Beatles to Billie Eilish, Etta James to Amy Winehouse, Dave Brubeck to Diana Krall, Django Reinhardt to Lake Street Dive, with plenty of unexpected turns along the way.
