Texas Guitar icon Anson Funderburgh will join Hummel on this tour. Anson has led his band the Rockets since 1978 w/Darrell Nulisch & then Sam Myers, racking up Blues Awards over the years and remains one of the most influential blues guitarists on the planet.
A Grammy-nominated artist and Blues Music Award winner, Hummel has shared stages and studio sessions with icons like Charlie Musselwhite, James Cotton, and John Mayall—a living bridge between the originators of electric blues and today’s modern masters. Backed by a powerhouse band, his live show is a deep dive into Chicago-style grooves, swinging rhythms, and the kind of musical chemistry that can only come from years in the trenches.
Set inside our canal-side mill-turned-music-haven, this is the blues the way it was meant to be heard: up close, unfiltered, and full of heart.
