The story
Halloween. Big sound. Low lights. Costumes. A real dance floor.
On Friday, October 30, the Divine Theater is turning over to teens for a Halloween night built for dancing.
DJ Rec — the Rhythm Rocker — takes the decks alongside a crew of youth DJs, with a full sound system, lights, and plenty of room to move.
Costumes are encouraged! Be elaborate. Be ridiculous. Be you.
This isn't an event adults dreamed up for teenagers. Teens have been meeting weekly at LightHouse with youth leaders from Pa'lante Transformative Justice to build the kind of night they actually want: fun, welcoming, sober, and open to young people from across Western Mass.
Tickets: $6 in advance. If cost gets in the way, let us know and we'll send you a coupon code. There are no tickets at the door, so reserve ahead.
THIS IS A SOBER EVENT. Anyone who arrives under the influence will not be admitted. Anyone who becomes under the influence during the event will be asked to leave, and a parent or guardian will be contacted for pickup.
For parents and guardians: The event is open to teens ages 13–19 from across Western Massachusetts. Registration requires parent or guardian contact information. The party runs 7–10 PM and will be staffed and supervised throughout with one adult per 10 youth.
Presented by LightHouse Holyoke + Pa'lante Transformative Justice.
