Team text messages
How people who work at De la Luz opt in to Team Texts (sign-in codes and shift notices): the exact wording shown in the crew app. Optional; reply STOP to opt out.
Team Texts are texts from De la Luz (LightWorks Collective Inc., DBA De la Luz Soundstage), 114 Race Street, Holyoke, MA, to the people who work here: sign-in codes, one confirmation text when you opt in, shift offers, changes and cancellations, and shift reminders. They are not marketing, and they are not for the public.
This page shows how staff opt in, in the exact words they see. Agreeing is optional and is not a condition of working at De la Luz. Full terms: Text message terms · Privacy policy.
01How you join
There are three ways to opt in. Each is optional, and nothing is texted until you choose one.
- Out loud, when a manager adds you. The manager asks: “OK if we text you sign-in links and shift alerts at this number? It’s optional, about a few texts a week, msg & data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP anytime.” Only if you say yes does the manager tick “They agreed to texts (verbal)”. The app records who ticked it and when.
- By texting TEAM to the De la Luz Team number. If your number is on our team list, we reply with your sign-in link. If it isn’t, we tell you so and record nothing.
- In the crew app, with the “Text me shift alerts” box shown below.
The first text after you opt in reads: “De la Luz Team: you’re set up for sign-in links and shift alerts. Sign in at crew.delaluz.org. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
02Signing in: Text me a code
When you sign in with a texted code, this is the disclosure shown directly beneath the "Text me a code" button:
By tapping "Text me a code" you ask De la Luz to text a one-time sign-in code to this number. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. You can sign in with an email code or a password instead.
03First sign-in: Text me shift alerts
The first time you sign in, the crew app asks whether you want shift alerts by text. The box is unchecked until you check it, and this is the wording shown with it:
Text me shift alerts. By checking this box you agree to receive texts from De la Luz about your shifts: offers, changes, cancellations and reminders. Message frequency varies, usually a few a week. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Optional; you'll still see everything in this app and by email.
The choice is kept in the app's settings, where you can change it at any time.
04What we send
