01Who we are
De la Luz is a live-music venue at 114 Race Street, Holyoke, Massachusetts, operated by LightWorks Collective Inc. Contact: hola@delaluz.org.
02What we collect
When you buy a ticket: your name, email address, and, if you choose, your mobile number; your ZIP code and country (from your card's billing details, or, for a free reservation, only if you give it); the show, tickets and amount of your order; and a record of any consent you give us. Payment is handled by Stripe in a secure form on our page; we never see or store your card number. From a payment we keep only the billing ZIP code and country, to know where our audience comes from. When you visit the site: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) kept for security and capacity; and, unless you turn them off, analytics about how you use the site (see Analytics) and, through Meta's pixel, the pages you view (see Advertising and measurement).
03What we use it for
To deliver your ticket and let you in at the door; to tell you about the show you bought a ticket for (time or room changes, cancellations and refunds); to answer your questions; and, only if you separately opt in, to tell you about future shows. We record when you open or click our emails, to send them at better times.
04Text messages
If you enter your mobile number at checkout, we send transactional texts about your order as described in our Ticket Text terms. If you join De la Luz Insiders (at delaluz.org/join, on your ticket page, or by texting LUZ), we also send up to 8 marketing texts a month, as described in our Insiders text terms. You can leave any time by replying STOP. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. If you opt into De la Luz Insiders (marketing texts), we record that consent the same way and use your number only to send those messages.
05Staff and crew
If you work at De la Luz, we keep your name, your email address and mobile number, your role and positions, the shifts you are offered and accept, and a record of your consent to texts. We use them to schedule shifts, tell you about offers and changes, let you sign in, and run the show. We use your mobile number only to send the messages described in our text message terms (sign-in codes, a confirmation when you opt in, and shift notices). We send no marketing on that number. Texts are optional; reply STOP at any time. Our text-message provider (Twilio) and our scheduling platform (Odeum) process this information on our instructions. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We keep staff records while you work with us and for as long as the law and our accounting require after that. To see, correct or delete what we hold, write to hola@delaluz.org.
06Who we share it with
Service providers that act on our instructions to run the venue: Stripe (payment), our email delivery provider (tickets and receipts), our text-message delivery provider (Twilio), our ticketing platform (Odeum), PostHog (website analytics, as described below), and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), to measure our advertising as described below. Videos on show pages play from YouTube, which may set its own cookies. Each receives only what it needs to do that job. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
07Analytics
We use analytics cookies from PostHog to see how people find and use our site, like which show pages are most popular. They never receive your name, email address, phone number or payment details.
08Advertising and measurement
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. Meta's cookies on our site, and our ticketing system when you buy, tell Meta when someone visits or buys a ticket, so we can measure our ads and Meta can show you more relevant ads on other sites and apps. For a purchase, that includes the amount, your email address in coded form, and your IP address and browser. We never send your phone number to Meta or any other advertising partner. You can also adjust ads in your Facebook or Instagram settings, and ask us to delete what we hold at delaluz.org/data-deletion.
09Your privacy choices
Analytics and advertising cookies are on by default. You can turn either off at any time with Privacy choices at the bottom of every page, and we remember your choice for 12 months. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we turn them off for you. Visitors outside the United States start with them off.
10Consent
Every consent you give us (to text you about your order, or to hear about future shows) is recorded with what you agreed to and when. You can withdraw it at any time: reply STOP to a text, use the link at the bottom of any email, or write to us.
11How long we keep it
Order records for as long as the law and our accounting require. Contact details until you ask us to delete them or after a long period without any order, whichever comes first. Consent records for as long as we need to show what you agreed to.
12Your choices
Use Privacy choices at the bottom of any page to turn analytics or advertising off or on. Write to hola@delaluz.org to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. We will answer within thirty days. Deleting an order's contact details does not undo a purchase or a refund already made.
13Children
Our services are for adults buying tickets and for adults who work here. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under thirteen.
14Security
Data is stored with providers that encrypt it in transit and at rest, and access is limited to staff who need it to run the venue.
15Changes
We may update this policy; the effective date at the top will change when we do.
